Titanic zatonął dwa razy - Izabela Żukowska - książka
Producent: Prószyński Media
A gripping crime story unfolds against the backdrop of a captivating and lesser-known episode from World War II. As the mystery unravels, it also reveals startling evidence of the grandiosity and madness that characterized the Third Reich's leadership. In the spring of 1942, a film crew from Berlin arrives in Gdynia, known to the Germans as Gotenhafen, tasked with bringing to life one of Joseph Goebbels' most audacious projects. The ship "Cap Arcona" is moored in the harbor and transformed into the "Titanic" as director Herbert Selpin begins filming about the infamous maritime disaster. On the set, Melita, a young German woman employed at the Sopot Kasino-Hotel, and her friend Gustaw, find themselves caught up in the production. Their efforts are suddenly halted by the murder of a crew member. Izabela Żukowska, a musicologist and sociologist by training and a music journalist by profession, made her debut with a historical crime trilogy featuring the Gdańsk commissioner Franz Thiedtke. Her books often feature her home region, the Tricity, as a prominent character. Passionate about history, she is also the proud owner of four cats, enjoys Mozart’s compositions and pre-war hits, and divides her time between Warsaw and Gdańsk.
