Master Game Józef Piłsudski and the Rebirth of Poland - Wojciech Roszkowski - książka
Producent: Muzeum Historii Polski
Józef Piłsudski is widely recognized for his skilled leadership in managing Polish affairs during and immediately following the First World War. This book focuses on his pivotal role in the critical months from November 1918 to February 1919. Piłsudski effectively prevented the spread of the Bolshevik revolution, unified conflicting political factions, and achieved international recognition for Poland from the victorious Entente powers. His efforts culminated in the successful conduct of Poland's first parliamentary elections in late January 1919 and the convening of the Constituent Sejm in February 1919. Throughout this period, Piłsudski consistently navigated difficult choices between the revolutionary left and Nationalists, as well as between the Central Powers and the Entente, steering the Polish nation towards a period of relative peace and stability. This stability was eventually solidified with the conclusion of the Polish-Soviet War in 1921 and the end of inflation by 1924.
