For the MYP 4 and MYP 5E levels, the algebraic prerequisites have been adjusted slightly downward in light of the revised syllabus for HL courses at the DP level, which has a lower entry threshold. Nonetheless, there remains a wealth of challenging problems designed to engage students with strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Our offerings for MYP Global Contexts have been significantly enhanced, both in terms of the number and quality of projects. This enhancement brings added historical and cultural depth, more engaging question sets, and improved alignment with assessment criteria. Additional discussions and activities have been incorporated throughout the chapters, providing students the chance to have informal mathematical conversations and serving as a valuable resource for those who complete their tasks ahead of time. Our Self-Tutor scripts have been updated to place a greater emphasis on conceptual comprehension. As in previous editions, we have taken into account that most schools meet national education standards up to grade 10 or its equivalent, while also running MYP programs concurrently. In these new editions, we address the MYP framework and additional content typically covered at this level, ensuring students are well-prepared for the DP courses.
